Sorry for the long moment of silence. I got an email from one of my fellow bloggeress saying update update reminding me that I need to start posting on my blog again since I'm coming out of my TTC break. Well as I said before I was expecting AF to show May 21st well she showed May 22nd, so we're still looking good to make it before the closing of the RE office in July. The cut off date to start a cycle is June 20th and AF should be here around June 17th or 18th.
Got the results back from the blood test thing and all is clear. She said one test showed that it was off just a little but not one that they were concerned about or one that required medication.
My protocol is the Flare protocol, no suppression at all. Day 1 of my cycle I start Lupron, and the next morning I start 225 of Follistim and then go in for my baseline and continue on with 225 Follistim in the PM. So 225 in the morning and 225 at night.
Still counting down till our 7 lovely nights in Jamaica. June 7th is my 26th birthday and the morning of the 8th we fly out to Jamaica....I'm so excited! I really really really need this vacation.
I have to catch up on all my blogger buddies, because I haven't been reading. So much to catch up on!

Update
Update on me: Talked to DH last night and we're not going to wait till August anymore. He still wanted to but I told him I was ready to do this again. So I figured out some dates and I've got a call in with my nurse to run it by her to make sure its all okay. But I figured that I will take my last BCP on Sunday, May 18th, AF will start May 21st then AF will start again June 16 or 17th after we get back from Jamaica and I'll start my stims on June 17th or 18th with an ER around June 29th and ET around July 4th.
I talked to my nurse and everything is good to go. The only thing I was worried about is that they close the office for about 3 weeks in July for a good cleaning and to allow their staff to go on holiday. But the last date to start is June 20th and AF if she cooperates should be here June 16 or 17th. So that will work out. She'll give me my protocol when I go on Thursday for my bloodwork. The blood work on Thursday is for the test to see if I my body attacks the babies trying to implant. So next month we're back in it. Now if we can get past the $12,000 we have to pay.

Failed IVF Consult was yesterday
The new plan is cycle in August like we said and the doctor recommended a fresh cycle. Instead of the BCP/Ganirelix protocol I will do NO BCPs and do a Lupron Flare protocol normally used for older women but my body acts old so thats what we're using. I think I start stims on CD 2 of my August cycle and go right into the Lupron and the stimming. I will be on BCPs for April/May/June not for the cycle but to keep my Endo quiet. Endo feeds off the monthly menstrual cycles as the blood that is supposed to come out some how splashes back in the uterus and attaches and grows....its hard to explain you'll have to google and read to get your own understanding of Endometriosis....but anyway to avoid that she is keeping me on pills for 3 months and I start them with this period starting in a few days...no blank pills....so I won't have a period at all those 3 months. (Great for me....no period during my 7 night stay in lovely Jamaica!!!! Just my luck thats when the old hag would have probably decided to show.) Then July I will have a period and no BCPs because she don't want to oversuppress me again then with the August period I'll start stims. Let me see...what else....Oh yeah ICSI will be done on ALL the eggs this time. They said DH's count that day was like 86 million and they thought they would still be able to fertilize the eggs but to avoid that next time all will be ICSI'd. Oh yeah even though my insurance has ran out they said they give a 25% discount to Aetna members so for monitoring, ER, ET, and ICSI it will be $8,750 instead of $11,925 (of course not including the meds which will be anywhere from $2-4 thousand more). And $1500 for freeze and storage. I think thats about it. Oh no...missed something. She also wants me to get a Thrombophilea testing done but in basic terms thats a clotting test. She wants to make sure nothing is preventing the embryos from implanting and staying implanted. I have to fast for that so I'll get that done within the next couple of months or sooner so I don't forget.....

Update
I want to thank you all for your kind words and support.
I am back from my trip and was so glad to come back home.
I surprised myself at how well I handled the chemical, I didn't even cry about it and after everything I've been through with TTC, breaking down crying has always been my way to voice my frustrations.
Its actually kind of scary the way I handled it, I thought that it would really hit home and effect me, but I guess because the numbers started so low that I never really allowed myself to accept that I was pregnant. I guess the good thing now is that I know I can get pregnant which has never happened our past five years of trying.
Well DH and I decided that we've had enough with TTC for a while and we're just going to enjoy life and live it to its fullest then pick the TTC thing back up in a few years.
My birthday is June 7th and I'll be 26 and our 5 year wedding anniversary is June 14th and we spent our honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica. This year for our anniversary we will be in Montego Bay, Jamaica from June 8th - 15th! It will be a great break for us and I'm so looking forward to it. Next June I'm looking into planning a trip to Paris, then June 2010 a trip to Africa. So I plan to keep us occupied!
Sorry I just left everyone hanging....I just didn't have anything to write.....wasn't sure what I was feeling....I'm sure you all can relate!

Its a Chemical
I went in for blood at 7am. Nurse called at 8:30am to tell me it only went to 44, to stop my progestrone and that my period should be here in a couple days. I have to go back in on the 17th to make sure the number went down to zero.
And the thing that sucks the most is that I'm on my Washington and I won't see my hubby again till March 14th and I broke the news to him over the phone.
I wish that I could just go home and lay in his arms.
Thanks for all the support you ladies have given me. It has been much appreciated it.

14DP3DT - 17DPO - Beta 33.5
14DPO - 9.5
17DPO - 33.5
Doubling time 37.34
I was at least wanting to see 28.5 which would mean it tripled in 72 hours and it was a little higher than that, so I'm content for now because it did double.
But..........
The low number is still really bothering me. I know so many women say that its not the actual number but that it doubles every 48 hours, but just comparing myself to so many other women, this is just a low low low number.
I go back on Wednesday for another beta. They wanted to wait till Friday but I will be out of town on Friday and I leave on Wednesday afternoon so they are bringing me in then.
I hardly ever have to travel for my job and at a time like this I'm leaving for a week and a half! It sucks! But what can I do? I found a Quest center in D.C. where I'm going to be so if they want me to still get my blood drawn I can go there and they can send the results to them. But my nurse said it takes them 3 days to get the results from them. So I'm not sure what they will do.

13DP3DT - Tomorrow is the day!
Thank you ladies for all your kind words and support.

Sorry about being MIA. Yesterday was my nephews 3rd Birthday so I got up at 6am and drove to Carolina to spend the day with him. We took him to the zoo and the Chuckie Cheese's! I was pooped. Then I got up at 5:30 to head back to Georgia this morning. But I did test when I got home today and I'll paste those for those who were asking about pics:
And here are all three different brands together:
So I shall know something more tomorrow.......
Update: Just got this.......
