So glad to have everything finally done. The final thing we're adding is the swivel fan which studies show help reduce the risk of SIDs and it will go behind the rocking chair.
Now I can spend my last few weeks doing yoga, reading, and relaxing knowing that everything is ready!! WooHOO!

Beautiful. Now don't be like some moms and have the nursery decorated beautiful and the baby spend more time in the parents room.....LOL.
Love it! Is that a day bed?
Love it! I can see you using that bed more often than not! I can't believe how close you are...
So precious!
Your nursery is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Really pretty, except Im not a huge fan of TV in the nurseries (or period). But I love the sofa, I can tell you that at about 7 wks we started nursing lying down and thats the best thing, I could use a sofa like that ! And @ Wanda, lol ... my baby Sydney is almost 5 monhts old and hasn't slept one single night in her nursery yet (daddy did, though, most of his lol)
Molly: I know everyone has their thoughts on TV and kids, but I personally don't care what others think. I love watching TV....actually I'm a TV Junkie and would never use my nursery if I had to sit in there and just stare at the walls. Plus the futon is backup sleep area if our guest bedroom is full and guest like to watch TV. So its not for the baby, its for me and our guest. But will it get used for the baby, yes. There are lots of great educational DVD's that are beneficial for kids. Oh yeah....did I mention I'm a TV junkie?? LOL!
Rose's Daughter: Its a futon. Folds three ways. Either in a sitting couch, a lounge type thing like we have it now, or straight down into a full size bed.
Wanda: LOL! Thats not the plan....but hey we will see. ;o)
lol good explanation... sydney sleeps with me in the mater bedroom and i have tv there, but we dont use it, it disturbs her when shes nursing or at night (i have never ever knew how much all the shows are flasshing till i had the baby and tried to watch tv in the dark) she wants to stare at it instead of nursing. in the beginning it worked when she was up at night... michael jackson died one week after she was born so i watched the coverage non stop, she didnt care. now she knows better.
i dont think im tv junkie, but my husband is. so i know what you mean lol ... education dvds, good point... i have tons of czech dvds that will be the only thing she is allowed to watch for now on rare occasions. and maybe the baby signs dvds, we'll let her. she gets unfortunately lots of tv with daddy when its her turn and he likes to watch teh fights and stuff like that...
what do you watch usually, what are your favorite shows (just courious)
Molly: As I cover my face in shame....LOL! I love reality TV shows. But lets see if I can list my favorites that I DVR so that I don't miss an episode:
-C.SI M.iami
-C.SI L.as V.egas
-Cr.iminal M.inds
-At.lanta House.wives
-Tyr.a B.anks Show
-Any Didd.y shows like I want to work for D.iddy, M.aking the B.and, etc.
-To.ol Ac.ademy
-Re.al Ch.ance of Lo.ve
-I lo.ve New.York
- Big.gest Los.er
- Ty.ler Pe.rry Me.et the Bro.wns
- Ty.ler Pe.rry Hou.se of Pa.ynes
And yes, I record all of these. LOL! And I'm probably forgetting some. DH will only watch CS.I Mi.ami, and the Ty.ler Pe.rry ones with me....the rest he just shakes his head and says what JUNK I'm watching. LOL!
wow.. i only watch csi miami and only like once in a blue moon. I would though be interested in watching Atlanta housewifes, i tried NYC and Cali but didnt get hooked. I watch amazing race, apprentice, survivor, desperate housewifes, melrose place, jon and kate and antm, and the news. DH watches everything else lol
Molly: Oh yeah I love Ca.ke Bo.ss too, but I don't record it....if I happen to catch it on I watch it. I used to watch AN.TM but it seems to have gone down hill to me. I watch Jon & kate if I catch it on, but don't record it to make sure I see all of them. At.lanta House.wives is full of drama...which I love. LOL!
Beautiful!
