Yeah i forgot too that I added you ! I didnt want doula becuase i wanted as few people as possible. I think doula is helpful if one doesnt know what's happening, which I knew. I had a midwife though, and that's something i extremely highly recommend (if they wouldnt keep coming ot my house we would never know she has such a critical jaundice!!) but in my case when I had to switch to Dr becuase of the gest. diabetes the midwife kind of took over the role of doula and was there just for suppport not delivery of the baby (dr did that) so it all worked out. Where we live, midwife is completely covered by insurance but doula isnt. If you can get a midwife, go for it! I think personally that midwife can give support doula can too (doula cannot deliver the baby though) so doula would be an extra but i know tons of people who had both and wouldnt change a thing
