Update

Its been a while since I updated. I decided to make this past Friday my last work day at 38 weeks. My return day for work is March 30, 2010 so a full 4 months off work. I was debating it for a while because I didn't want to come out too early and then I be at home bored waiting on Miracle to arrive. But I also didn't want to still be working and go into labor and not be able to finalize things at work. So it was good to set a date to have something to work towards, just hope I don't get bored being out of work waiting on her arrival.

At my appointment last week 38 weeks, I was told that I was a fingertip dilated, 30% effaced and +1 station. I started walking on Sunday and my plan now since I'm out of work is to walk a mile a day and do some yoga, hopefully that will encourage the little one to make her way on down. We'll see if any progress has been made at my appointment on Friday.

I still very much love being pregnant, however I am getting anxious and excited to finally meet and hold Miracle. To look into her face and know that hey this is really real. I still have my awh moments like wow, I'm going to be a mommy soon. At times it still doesn't seem real. I can't wait to meet her and smell her and feel her.

Miracle: Mommy and Daddy are so excited that its almost time to meet you. We can't wait till you are here and we are able to hold you in our arms. We love you so much!

Oh how exciting ! AT 38 weeks, Sydney was 2 days old lol !! So much for "First times moms are ALWAYS late" I did lots of squatting, and things on my knees (good for positioning), I did accupuncture and the foot massage, too ! I loved being pregnant as well and cant wait for the second time around

I can't believe she's almost here. You won't be bored! Take this time to get your pedi done, last minute shopping (for you), reading, and enjoying your husband and sleep! It will be many months before you enjoy those again. LOL.
